Marc Vidal Aparicio

 

Education:

 

BS in Art History. Universitat de Barcelona (1993).
Graduated in Photographic Studies at Institut d’Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya (1997).                       

Professional Experience:
He worked in several photo studios in Barcelona. In 1998 he cofounded his own studio, La Fotogràfica (www.lafotografica.com), along with the photographer Marta Fàbregas. From then on, he works exclusively in his studio and makes projects for different publishers, advertising agencies and private customers.
He also directed and managed the Unitat Professional de la Imatge de la Jove Cambra d’Empresaris de Barcelona (2009-2010).

- Master of Photography for Creative Professions in the European Design Institute Barcelona (coordinate on and teaching).

- Image workshop for enterpreneurs and free lance professionals

He currently works on his series of portraits of culture and arts related professionals; he is also developing a second series of portraits based on women, gender violence and feminin duality.
Parallel to that, he works and researches on the concept “digipovera”, an artistic trend based on the digital-photography language, recycling, and the use of poor materials.
